Abstract
El desarrollo de las competencias investigativas en los estudiantes requiere de docentes preparados y actualizados, los cuales puedan brindar a los futuras ciudadanos capacidades de tomar decisiones adecuadas según la situación que les corresponda afrontar, por consiguiente en esta pesquisa se tuvo como propósito describir las competencias investigativas en la escuela peruana vista por los docentes, se optó en la metodología la ruta cualitativa, con diseño fenomenológico, empleándose una entrevista semi estructurada la cual se aplicó a treinta docentes de EBR, el estudio permitió inferir mediante la codificación de las consultas realizadas, que un importante número de docentes conoce las competencias investigativas, sin embargo, les cuesta desarrollarlas en el aula con sus estudiantes.
The development of investigative skills in students requires prepared and updated teachers, who can provide future citizens with the ability to make appropriate decisions according to the situation they have to face, therefore in this research the purpose was to describe the investigative skills in the Peruvian school as seen by teachers, the qualitative route was chosen in the methodology, with a phenomenological design, using a semi-structured interview which was applied to thirty EBR teachers, the study allowed to infer through the coding of the queries made, that a significant number of teachers know the investigative skills, however, they find it difficult to develop them in the classroom with their students.
