El aspecto socio-cultural del lenguaje oral y escrito: visión Vygotskyana.

espanolUna premisa basica de la teoria vygotskyana es la de que toda forma de actividad mental humana de orden superior es derivada de contextos sociales y culturales y que la misma es compartida por los miembros de ese contexto debido a que estos procesos mentales son ajustables. De acuerdo con la teoria sociocultural de Vygotsky, el conocimiento es un fenomeno profundamente social y este fenomeno moldea las formas que el individuo tiene disponibles para pensar e interpretar el mundo. En esta experiencia el lenguaje juega un papel fundamental en una mente formada socialmente porque es nuestra primera via de contacto mental y de comunicacion con otros y representa una herramienta indispensable para el pensamiento. Por considerar que el lenguaje representa un puente muy importante entre el mundo sociocultural y el funcionamiento mental del individuo, Vygotsky califico la adquisicion del lenguaje como la piedra angular del desarrollo cognoscitivo del nino. EnglishA basic premise of the vygotskyan theory is that every form of human mental activity of superior order derives from social and cultural contexts, and since these mental processes are adjustable, it is shared by the members of that context. According to Vygotsky�s socio-cultural theory, knowledge is a deeply social phenomenon and this phenomenon molds the ways a person has available to interpret and think about the world. Language plays an important role in a socially educated mind during this experience because it is our first way of mental contact and communication with others and represents an indispensable tool for thinking. Considering that language represents a very important bridge between the socio-cultural world and the individual�s mental functioning, Vygotsky qualified language acquisition as the cornerstone of children�s cognositive development.
