Abstract
The purpose of this research was to inquire about the perception of the Covid-19 disease health process in adults who received Nursing care. This qualitative and descriptive study made it possible to interpret from the thoughts and estimates in an intentional sample of eight subjects who suffered from Covid-19, with an in-depth semi-structured interview, considering the theory of “live contagion” and the Henle-Koch postulates. Covid-19 is based on a biological conception of complex disease, whose social, cultural and psychological factors act as predisposing causes or triggers of the health-disease process that affect the individual, generating transformations in the biological, physical, environmental and historical context of the disease. population, where the environment acts as a predisposing component for the external agent to come into contact with the individual and cause the disease. This analysis allowed to expose how Covid-19 affected the health of individuals causing a difficult experience, which became disabling to carry out daily activities, social life with family and friends, experiencing episodes of fear and anguish when thinking that their health would worsen due to the high risk of dying; which exacerbated the restlessness, uncertainty and depression during his health-disease process.
