Habilidades investigativas en los docentes universitarios: una revisión sistemática

Abstract
Las habilidades investigativas docentes son cruciales para una educación superior innovadora y una formación estudiantil de calidad. El propósito del presente artículo de revisión sistémica fue describir el estado de las investigaciones sobre las habilidades investigativas de los docentes universitarios. La metodología utilizada fue una revisión sistemática cualitativa, se seleccionaron 17 artículos comprendidos entre 2019 y 2024, usando la guía actualizada PRISMA. El análisis de los estudios, especialmente en Latinoamérica, revela baja productividad pese a su importancia; los desafíos incluyen falta de formación, excesiva carga administrativa y pocos incentivos, a la vez que los programas formativos muestran resultados prometedores. Se recomienda implementar capacitación continua, reducir barreras organizacionales, incentivar la producción científica, crear espacios colaborativos, integrar habilidades emocionales y garantizar mentoría en la formación. Se concluye que fortalecer estas competencias requiere un enfoque multidimensional que aborde aspectos técnicos, institucionales y personales, impulsando así la calidad educativa y producción científica.

The purpose of this systematic review article was to describe the state of research on university professors' research skills. The methodology used was a qualitative systematic review, selecting 17 articles from 2019 to 2024, using the updated PRISMA guide. The analysis of the studies, especially in Latin America, reveals low productivity despite its importance. Challenges include lack of training, excessive administrative burden, and few incentives, while training programs show promising results. It is recommended to implement ongoing training, reduce organizational barriers, incentivize scientific production, create collaborative spaces, integrate emotional skills, and ensure mentoring in training. It is concluded that strengthening these competencies requires a multidimensional approach that addresses technical, institutional, and personal aspects, thus promoting educational quality and scientific production.
