Abstract
The objective of this instrumental psychometric study was to construct a scale of psychological well-being for children (EBPN). The sample was intentional and consisted of 640 children from public institutions. Methodology: Through the confirmatory factor analysis process, adequate valúes were obtained in the fit Índices {f I gl = 2.547, GFI = .953, RMSEA = .049, SRMR = 0.0396, CFI = .943, TLI = .93, NFI = .91). Results: Reliability was determined by means of the O coefficient, obtaining a general valué of .869, and its dimensions showed valúes greater than 0.654. It was possible to conclude that the obtained models have adequate validity and reliability
