Abstract
Current initiatives for the prevention of juvenile delinquency using alternative mechanisms of mediation come from companies implementing Corporate Social Responsibility. These mechanisms are diff erent to conventional access to justice and seek the reduction of crime through the implementation of projects with large-scale social, philanthropic and retributive such as Alcatraz Project Santa Teresa Foundation. This research aims to analyze the implementation of Project Alcatraz Jose Rafael Revenga Municipality of the Aragua state as Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in the framework of the Theory of Restorative Justice. It uses a qualitative methodology and its main results emphasize the importance of a social project aimed at crime prevention to manage informal control mechanisms where the State is not solely responsible giver of solutions but democratically for Progress, is the community along with a socially responsible company who identify, diagnose, monitor and manage solutions to the problems that affl ict the most.
