Abstract

This work aims to portray music as a common good of knowledge, through a holistic qualitative methodology. This is possible to demonstrate, based on the fact that music was born as a rite-story, it is represented as an artistic expression, it intervenes in the economic market, but its nature makes it an inappropriate good, in spite of copyright laws and dynamics of the economic market, there are open spaces of its creation than it is impossible to consider it as a whole merchandise.
