Abstract

Expert systems have the ability to help the human expert and that is why one of their main applications is in the field of medicine. Therefore, the essential purpose of the investigation of this article is to explore the benefits that can be obtained from the creation and development of an expert system for the resolution of diffuse data through a correlational descriptive type study that helps to evaluate the expenditure Caloric of a patient, and thus obtain a support system in the nutritional diagnosis of an individual. For that reason, 30 cases were analyzed in total, both men and women with a age range of 13 to 30 years in the city of La Paz, a selection that was made from non-probabilistic sampling by quotas. In the results it was possible to observe that there is a correlation between the comparison model used (Lipocalibre), the percentage of success of the SEN compared to the model was of 97%, so it can be affirmed that it is an effective and supportive tool Expert nutritionist.
