Abstract
Objective: review and analyze the state of the art of scientific production of the Professionalization Program of the School of Nursing of the University of Los Andes (ULA) from 2011 to 2019. Methods: was a quantitative, descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 62 works advised by the author. In the methodological review of each study, the following data were recorded in a data sheet: type and design of research, sample, sampling, age, gender, place of study, study topic, instrument and statistical analysis. Results: 100% of the 62 works were quantitative, descriptive, with field design and cross-sectional; 62.9% of the sample was made up of nursing staff; female gender (19.4%); age range 41-71 years (11.2%); in the hospital context (64.5%); as a subject knowledge of nursing predominated 54.9%; the most used was the simple questionnaire (72.6%); prepared by the participants in 80.6% and 100% used descriptive statistics. Conclusion: The methodological review of the advisory work allowed to observe a wide variety of topics that could serve to establish or reorient research lines at the undergraduate level. The findings reported are an incentive for other researchers to encourage themselves to carry out this type of research.
