Creación y consolidación del Archivo del Museo Nacional de las Intervenciones, Ciudad de México

Abstract

Después de una larga ruta crítica comenzada con dos años de antelación, en el 2020 se inauguró el Archivo del Museo Nacional de las Intervenciones (MNI). Este informe tiene por objetivo ilustrar el proceso que se siguió para habilitarlo y, paralelamente, poner de manifiesto la importancia de que las instituciones se preocupen por resguardar su propia historia. Se considera que, tomándola como un caso de éxito, esta experiencia del MNI puede servir como ejemplo y aliciente para centros de trabajo, del propio Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) o de otras instituciones, que deseen poner en orden sus mecanismos para gestionar y preservar su documentación. ----- Following a long and critical path which began in 2018, the Archive at the National Museum of Interventions (MNI) was inaugurated in 2020. This report aims to illustrate the process implemented to achieve this and, at the same time, highlight how important it is for institutions to be involved in the safeguarding their own history. It is believed that this experience, taken as a success story, may serve as an example and push more work centers belonging to the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) or other institutions that wish to put in order their processes to manage and preserve their documentation.
