Diálogo: Crisis de Estado en debate
Abstract
The pillars of the "neoliberal" state structure are crumbling fast. It is this crisis that explains the political and social conflicts in the country in 2003. In response to this - earlier rather than later, says Álvaro García Linera - there will be a lasting recomposition of forces, beliefs and institutions that will mark the start of a new period of state stability. This description of the crisis in the state leads to a dialogue with Sonia Montano and Carlos Hugo Molina. Following their valuable discussion is a fourth contribution, by Jorge Lazarte, who writes about the conflict between the state of the "demos" and the state of the "ethnos".
