Migración campo-ciudad: discriminación generacional en Sucre
Abstract
La discriminación es una actitud culturalmente construida y de carácter biológico casi universal. Ante la falta de estudios sobre este fenómeno en la ciudad de Sucre. El objetivo de esta indagación fue caracterizar la discriminación en dicha ciudad, y determinar sus rasgos más relevantes en vecinos sucrenses, a través de una aproximación cualitativa, desde los protagonistas. Tres grupos focales conformados por 45 vecinos de los cuales se seleccionaron 16 entrevistas de acuerdo atres ejes en que gira el problema de la discriminación definidos a priori: migración, cholificación y alteridad. Se evidencia la existencia de factores discriminadores con relación a los migrantes, a los cholos identificados con los indios, a los campesinos y a los adultos mayores produciendo una alteridad en los vínculos histórico-político-sociales relacionados con los espacios urbano-rurales. The objective of this research characterizes discrimination in this city and determines its most important features in neighbors of Sucre through a qualitative approach from the protagonists themselves. We worked with three focus groups formed by 45 neighbors, and 16 interviews were selected according to the three axes in which the problem of discrimination is determined a priori: migration, cholification and alterity.
