Abstract
El propósito del presente artículo es realizar una revisión bibliográfica que permita exponer el mecanismo a través del cual el comportamiento de líderes transformacionales impacta en el compromiso organizacional. En una primera etapa, se expone la evolución de las teorías del liderazgo y se resalta la importancia de las teorías contemporáneas, particularmente la teoría del liderazgo transformacional, posteriormente se resalta la importancia del compromiso organizacional y finalmente su relación con el liderazgo transformacional.
The purpose of this article is to carry out a bibliographic review that allows exposing the mechanism through which the behaviors of a transformational leader impact on organizational commitment. In a first stage, the evolution of the different leadership theories is exposed, where the importance of contemporary theories is highlighted, particularly the theory of transformational leadership. Subsequently, the importance of organizational commitment and finally its relationship with transformational leadership.
