Abstract
El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la influencia del Teatro como Estrategia Educativa para desarrollar la Inteligencia Emocional en estudiantes de secundaria de Cusco. Para ello se ha utilizado el enfoque cuantitativo aplicado y un diseño cuasi experimental. Los datos de los 15 estudiantes del grupo experimental y 15 del de control se midieron con el Inventario de Inteligencia Emocional de Bar-On EQ-i-YV. Solo para el experimental se aplicó un grupo de 8 sesiones virtuales de teatro. El resultado más importante es que la Estrategia Educativa del Teatro fue determinante para desarrollar las dimensiones intrapersonal e interpersonal del grupo experimental.
The objective of the study was to determine the influence of Theater as an Educational Strategy to develop Emotional Intelligence in high school students from Cusco. Applied quantitative approach and a quasi-experimental design was used. Data of 15 students in the experimental group and 15 in the control group was obtained with the Bar-On EQ-i-YV Emotional Intelligence Inventory. The experimental group watched eight virtual theater sessions was. The most impor-tant result is that the Educational Strategy of Theater was decisive to develop intrapersonal and interpersonal dimensions on the experimental group.
