Abstract
En la actualidad, las competencias digitales (CD) son cruciales para el éxito académico, pues facilitan el acceso a la información y mejoran el aprendizaje. Este estudio evaluó el impacto de las CD en el rendimiento académico en clases de arte, mediante un enfoque cuantitativo correlacional con una muestra censal de 30 estudiantes. La variable CD se midió usando el instrumento DigComp, basado en el marco europeo para el desarrollo de las CD, que incluye seis áreas y 23 competencias en seis niveles. El rendimiento académico se evaluó a partir de las calificaciones finales del curso. Los resultados mostraron una correlación significativa (r = 0.8775, p<0.05) entre las CD (X) y el rendimiento académico (Y). En conclusión, el estudio destaca la importancia de desarrollar y fortalecer las CD para mejorar el rendimiento académico, destacando su papel esencial en la educación contemporánea.
