Análisis de las competencias ambientales en educación básica: una revisión sistemática

Abstract
La crisis ambiental que enfrentamos actualmente demanda una respuesta urgente, especialmente en la educación básica, la cual debe contribuir en la protección del planeta, aunque existen limitaciones en la integración de la educación ambiental en el currículo escolar, dificultando el desarrollo de competencias ambientales en los estudiantes. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar las competencias ambientales en la educación básica mediante una revisión sistemática. La metodología se basó en una revisión documental sistemática en las bases de datos Scopus, SciElo y ProQuest, considerando publicaciones entre 2021 y 2025. Los resultados muestran que las competencias ambientales comprenden conocimientos, habilidades, actitudes y valores esenciales para afrontar los desafíos ecológicos, y que las propuestas pedagógicas inciden positivamente en el comportamiento proambiental. La conclusión resalta la importancia de las competencias ambientales en la educación básica, siendo fundamental capacitar a los docentes y aplicar estrategias pedagógicas activas para fomentar la conciencia y la responsabilidad ambiental.
