Abstract
El desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en estudiantes universitarios latinoamericanos es fundamental, pero también es indispensable conocer la forma en que se promueve. El objetivo estuvo orientado a analizar el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en universitarios en Latinoamérica mediante una revisión sistemática de artículos publicados entre 2019 y 2024. Se trabajo con método PRISMA, se realzó la recolección mediante motores de búsqueda académicos confiables haciendo uso de los operadores boléanos y se utilizaron palabras clave vinculadas a la temática, obteniendo inicialmente 174 publicaciones que luego de aplicar los filtros se eligieron 18. Se concluyó que el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico en estudiantes universitarios latinoamericanos es un proceso complejo que se fortalece mediante metodologías activas y se recomienda la formación continua del profesorado, tanto en estas metodologías como en el uso de herramientas digitales y la realización de investigaciones que evalúen el impacto de dichas metodologías y herramientas por área disciplinar.
The development of critical thinking in Latin American university students is fundamental, but it is also essential to understand how it is promoted. The objective was to analyze the development of critical thinking in Latin American university students through a systematic review of articles published between 2019 and 2024. It is estimated that the development of critical thinking in Latin American university students is a complex process that is strengthened through active methodologies. Continuous teacher training is recommended, both in these methodologies and in the use of tools and the conduct of digital research that evaluates the impact of said methodologies and tools by disciplinary área.
