Abstract
In a context of continuous change, achieving quality education in universities requires effective strategic planning to meet management challenges. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between strategic planning and the quality of education in students at a university in Lima. A quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design was used. The population consisted of 191 students, from which a probabilistic sample of 127 was drawn. The technique used was the survey, and questionnaires were applied for each of the variables. The data were processed with IBM SPSS software, and Spearman's Rho inferential statistics were used to determine the relationship between the variables. The results showed a moderate direct correlation (rs = 0.602; p = 0.000). It is concluded that the greater the strategic planning, the higher the quality of education.
