Abstract
El estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los hábitos de estudio y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo (UNASAM). Se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básico, con diseño no experimental, correlacional-descriptivo y de corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 580 estudiantes, de los cuales se seleccionó una muestra de 60. Se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y como instrumento un cuestionario validado por juicio de expertos y con una confiabilidad de 0,696 según el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. Los resultados evidenciaron una relación positiva y significativa entre los hábitos de estudio y el rendimiento académico (r = 0,795; p < 0,05). Se concluye que la mejora de los hábitos de estudio favorece el incremento del rendimiento académico en los estudiantes universitarios.
