Abstract

Piaget is a model of popular culture in children�s education. We attempt to analyze his influence on the "Practical guide for pre-school children�s activities" which is currently the official program in Venezuela. Our analysis concentrates on three topics: revising stagism; promoting diversity; revising Piaget�s educational model. Finally we propose an ideology for Infant Schooling, based on Piaget, but free, to our way of thinking, of stagism and mentalism.
