Percepción del uso de las TIC en estudiantes de inglés en una universidad pública

Abstract
Las TIC han sido integradas a la actividad educativa, siendo importantes en el aprendizaje del inglés porque el estudiante interactúa y mantiene una comunicación fluida, facilitando su aprendizaje. Tuvo por objetivo describir el uso de las TIC's en estudiantes de inglés en una Universidad Pública. La metodología fue básica, cuantitativa, no experimental, transversal y descriptivo. La población y muestra fue de 216 estudiantes, la técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento un cuestionario de 20 ítems. Los resultados revelaron que 94% de estudiantes percibe que el uso de las TIC en el aprendizaje del inglés es de nivel positivo. Asimismo, se encontró aceptación por parte de los estudiantes para integrar las redes sociales, Google, correo electrónico y páginas web que contribuyan al propósito del aprendizaje. Se concluyó que la percepción de los estudiantes es positiva porque consideran que las TIC le presentan oportunidades diversas para el aprendizaje del inglés.

It was concluded that the students' perception is positive because they consider that ICTs present diverse opportunities for learning English.
