Abstract
La educación de calidad es clave para el desarrollo social, y el desempeño docente influye en su logro. Este estudio analizó la relación entre la calidad educativa y el desempeño docente mediante un enfoque cuantitativo y diseño correlacional, aplicando cuestionarios a 201 docentes en cinco instituciones. Tras confirmar la no normalidad de los datos con la prueba de Kolmogorov-Smirnov, se utilizó la correlación de Spearman, evidenciando una relación significativa entre ambas variables y sus dimensiones: gestión estratégica, formación integral, gestión de soporte y recursos, y gestión de resultados. En todos los casos, el p-valor fue menor a 0.05, lo que demuestra su influencia en las instituciones educativas públicas peruanas. En conclusión, la calidad educativa y el desempeño docente están estrechamente vinculados, resaltando la importancia de fortalecer sinergias, formación, planificación y recursos estratégicos para mejorar el aprendizaje.
